A narrower compatibility-oriented reconstruction is now available as draft PR #119 for review. It explicitly credits @bmarwell and links this original contribution. This does not silently supersede or close #107; maintainers should choose the preferred shape after review and preserve the original attribution.

Continued in repository-owned draft PR #122 so the build and compatibility corrections can be maintained in-repository. Your original commit cdbdc5060cddb1373a86a1575445b68f1b1d08c0 and the complete #107 head are retained as ancestors, preserving authorship and attribution. #122 is currently stacked on #119 and will be retargeted to develop after #119 merges. I have requested your review there.

Preserve Benjamin Marwell's original signed #107 commit as a parent,
and consolidate Peter Lawrey's #122/#123 integration and the local
review corrections against the existing comparison base.

Remove redundant manifest settings: source-removal controls retain
the final multi-release flag and all library class bytes. Derive the
repeat-package harness JAR name from project coordinates so normal
version bumps retain the paired overwrite regression.

Keep the Java 8 classes, Java 9 descriptor, public API, pinned inputs
and contributor fixtures. Original commits and exact mappings are
retained in the operator receipt and archive-reviewed-r0003 branch.
