test_gap_sloppy_this_bound_once, added by #11679 (ed0d5b50f), reports parity_fail on main 7fa094cb4 with a pristine release build. Setup: perrymaster, Linux x86_64, PERRY_SKIP_BUILD=1 PERRY_NO_AUTO_OPTIMIZE=1, Node 26.5.1.
The oracle itself throws. Node runs the .ts file as an ES module, which is strict, so the mutate.call(1) line fails:
TypeError: Cannot create property 'extra' on number '1'
Perry also exits 1 at that point, but with a different error:
TypeError: Cannot assign to read only property 'extra' of object '#<Object>'
at twice (<anonymous>)
at strictKeep (<anonymous>)
The test is written for sloppy-mode this binding, which an ESM .ts oracle does not provide. It likely needs a CommonJS form, or an expected-output file under test-parity/expected/.
Found while triaging #11676. That PR does not cause this failure: the result is identical on pristine main.
