Strange syntaxing error

Not sure if this is an API error or REST multi-call issue. Already tried reinstalling the module. Strangest part is that it was working like 10 minutes before this issue started.

Sorry for the necro-comment here @ndma-ucsc. I believe that based on how old this issue is, you likely moved on already. Given my recent interest in this project and the amount of open issues due to the unmaintained state of this repo, I started to review everything and old posts are in my sight to have it cleaned up.

There's a couple things here:

1. The error seems to be raised over an unmatched ) in a python 3.11 lib, ast.py. It doesn't seem to be an error. This seems to be something very weird, as the matching closing bracket exists in the very next line: https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/3.11/Lib/ast.py#L50-L51
2. This issue is very old, as the latest python version is on 3.14 and the pokebase code is updated as well.

I don't see this as an issue from the repo itself, but rather a misconfiguration on the core dependencies of your python. The only way I could reproduce this was removing the matching bracket on my ast.py that lives in my virtual env folder.

@Naramsim do you want to do any extra sanity checks or have me (or someone else) to look further or given how old this issue is, close it and move on?
