CloudFront POC - Static Sites Infrastructure

This project provisions AWS infrastructure for hosting static websites using S3 and CloudFront with internal routing.

Architecture

• Three S3 Buckets: Main, Buyer, and Seller pages
• CloudFront Distribution: Single distribution with multiple origins and behaviors
• URL Routing: CloudFront Function handles /buyer/* and /seller/* path rewrites
• Public Access: All buckets configured for public read access

Usage

Deploy Infrastructure

cd Ansible-Deployment
ansible-playbook -i environments/dev/hosts.yml deploy-static-sites.yml

Deploy with Terraform Apply

ansible-playbook -i environments/dev/hosts.yml deploy-static-sites.yml -e "terraform_state=present"

Upload Content to S3

ansible-playbook -i environments/dev/hosts.yml upload-static-content.yml

Upload Content with Cache Invalidation

ansible-playbook -i environments/dev/hosts.yml upload-static-content.yml -e "invalidate_cache=true"
