I noticed that some CI checks failed for this PR. I'm investigating whether the failures are caused by this suggestion. If they're unrelated or pre-existing, I'll leave this suggestion unchanged and create a separate suggestion if a standalone docs fix is needed. |

Proposed changes
The Promptless MCP server now does more than start tasks, but the docs covered it only on the MCP triggers reference page. This PR adds a dedicated guide page, Promptless MCP server (
/docs/for-docs/work-the-queue/mcp-server). It shows what you can ask for from Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or VS Code: requesting docs edits while you code, following a task to its docs pull request, revising and managing suggestions, and checking task status. It also covers choosing between the/mcpand/mcp/with-direct-editsURLs (where the agent edits doc files itself) and quick connect commands for each editor. The existing MCP reference page keeps its slug and every per-tool heading, because the live MCP server links to those anchors. The reference page now links to the new guide. The Triggers page card, the Claude.ai and ChatGPT page, and
llms.txtalso point to the new page.Agent sign-up and the account tools (
get_account_status,connect_integration) are left to the open PR #1083.The new page follows the frontmatter and structure conventions from #1177. It has an
id, usestype: how-towith Overview and See also sections, and hascreated/ownerstamped indocs.metadata.yamlandlast-updatedstamped in frontmatter.manni meta validatepasses on all 132 pages, andmanni lint structureand remark-lint pass on the changed pages.Checklist
