Release v0.8.0 combines the incremental scanning work already on main with the reviewed search, duplicate integrity, cleanup, cache, and release-script fixes. Find navigation now follows visible results; smaller same-size candidates appear in All Sizes; missing cleanup targets are reported before confirmation; cache byte limits and deleted-file persistence are repaired.
Updates VERSION, README, the GitHub Pages download links and changelog, and release notes. Existing v0.7.1 screenshots are explicitly labeled as interface references.
Validation: the final public upload audit passed 251 tests in 26 suites, release-script mocks, shell syntax, plist checks, and the public-file scan. The optimized arm64 app and mounted DMG report 0.8.0 and pass strict signature verification; bundled resources and checksum were verified. Native fixture smoke checks cover find navigation and collapsed-result reveal. The DMG is ad hoc signed and unnotarized, with Apple Silicon/macOS 14+ requirements stated on download pages.
