Based on michaelm-afk's handoff; reworked to be generic (07255df):
ui_pick(native picker with built-in fallback); newlauncher_try_pick_folder_inopens in a start folder on Windows/zenity/kdialog. The handoff called tinyfd directly with a Windows-only wide path.backends/path guess (the host passesartwork_root).quick(newRecompLauncherCModFeature.quick,feature_set_quick). Removed the hard-coded widescreen/Seamless/RA ranking and labels.disc_selection_locked: locked message no longer names TombaRecomp.Tests: new mod-gate, mod-button, artwork-folder; full suite 48/48 on mingw64.
Host side: RetroPortingToolKit/psxrecomp#760. Stacked on #115.
