[obvious-fleet] Experiments: every PR #239 review finding is already fixed on alpha - #300
Conversation
All 15 unresolved review findings on PR #239 were already fixed on alpha by earlier merged commits. This file ties each finding to its fix commit and the regression test that covers it, and records the verification run (1,117 passed, 0 failed across the six suites at alpha 969d4e9). What changed
One commit on this branch, and it is documentation only. Codex and Greptile left 15 unresolved review findings (1 marked P1) on the experiments code after PR #239 merged into alpha. I re-verified each finding against alpha head
969d4e93and found all 15 already fixed by earlier merged commits, each with a regression test that still passes. Acting again would have duplicated work that is already in, so there is no production change to make. The single commit (3be42cd6) addsexperiments/PR-239-REVIEW-DISPOSITIONS.md, the in-repo record of that disposition table; a branch identical to alpha cannot open a compare pull request, so the record is committed to make this PR exist at all. No production code, tests, or workflows are touched. Why
The replies on the review threads already name fix commits, but replies can go stale or be wrong, so I did not take them at their word. I read the current code behind every finding — the blind ranking path in
meter_eval.locate, the serial contract inmeter_eval.match, the atomic write incapture_contract.py, the session/output containment and scored-symlink handling inevals.field, the stage-ownership recovery inrename-fixtures.py, and thecapture_sdefinition inscoring.measure_lab— and then ran the suites. The fixes are real, independent of the replies, and covered by tests whose names match the findings. The committed record keeps those resolutions citable next to the code they describe; it documents the six areas directly belowexperiments/, which is why it lives there rather than in any one package.Review findings disposition

Run on a fresh clone of
alphaat969d4e93inside the existing BaseScanning repo sandbox, in a directory of my own; no other checkout was touched. The suite projects pintool.uv.required-version >=0.11.15, <0.12, so the suites ran under uv 0.11.33; the models project has no pin and passes under both 0.11.33 and 0.13.1. The committed file is documentation, so these counts are also the alpha baseline: 1117 passed, 0 failed.uv sync --locked+make check: ruff check, ruff format --check, pytest)uv sync --locked+make test)uv sync --project models --locked+uv run --project models pytest -q models/tests)uv sync --locked+ ruff check, ruff format --check, pytest)python3 -m unittest -v)uv run --project ../meter-closeup pytest -q test_fetch_fixtures.py)Test log tails
Coverage limits, stated plainly:
experiments/, so no suite outside the six above has anything new to check; the Xcode-dependent work also cannot run in this Linux sandbox.experiments/live-dotsalso has a Swift package whose tests need swift, which the sandbox does not have. The Python fixture-recovery suite, which covers the two live-dots findings, ran in full.Risk
Minimal: the only diff is a new markdown record. The one material risk is misreading — if any disposition above is wrong, the review thread would be closed on a false already-fixed claim. The mitigations are that each row names the fix commit and the covering test, and that I verified the current source of every fix by reading it, not by trusting the thread replies.
