New TraceDecay worktrees previously missed private fleet settings unless an ignored configuration file was copied into each checkout. The repository now selects a meaningful
tracedecayprofile containing its pinned nightly toolchain; each host can extend that profile with its existing OS-specific fleet configuration. Future worktrees inherit the host profile automatically, while per-checkout and CLI overrides remain available.Validation: an ordinary Mac test command with no fleet flags executed the real environment probe remotely with normal caching and local fallback enabled (invocation). Native Bazel command-line records also verified legacy strategy precedence, per-checkout and CLI overrides,
--nohome_rc, and unrelated-workspace isolation. Commitlint and diff whitespace checks passed. Ubuntu and Omarchy independently passed ordinary commands through their host profiles. This change does not upgrade historical source branches: compatible legacy worktrees can offload compilation while retaining local nonportable actions; branches without execution platforms use the shared remote cache.
