chore(apiv2): resync vendored v2 fixtures to server 83ac7a9 - #393
Conversation
Re-vendor with scripts/sync-apiv2-fixtures.sh from silo-server 83ac7a9 (#1445). The system-info body carries the new contract digest and the identity link; the user, setup-status, profile, and progress bodies pick up fields the server added since 0416528. 🟠 High fixtures/get_current_user_ok.json:10
Android discards password_change_required, so users logging in with a temporary password enter the normal UI and every protected operation returns 403 password_change_required without a way to change their password. Account has no corresponding property, so Account.toUser() cannot propagate this server state; add handling for the flag and a changePassword flow before allowing normal operations.

This is accurate, but this PR didn't introduce it. The gap comes from Silo-Server/silo-server#1460 (merged 2026-09-25), which lets admins set temporary passwords. A session holding one gets password_change_required: true from getCurrentUser, and every route except reading the account, POST /api/v2/account/password (changePassword), and logout returns 403 password_change_required. The Android app has none of this, with or without this PR. Neither does silo-apple.
This PR only updates the test fixtures to match the server. The fix needs a sign-in state and a change-password screen on phone and TV, so it's going into a separate issue instead of this PR. Leaving the thread open until that issue is linked.

Thanks for confirming. Since this is out of scope here, would you like me to prepare the Android fix in a separate PR against main?
ApprovabilityVerdict: Would Approve Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — The change is limited to commonTest API fixture snapshots and source metadata, with no production code or customer-request runtime behavior modified. The updated account fixture does expose a separate existing gap in handling password-change-required sessions, which remains a correctness risk outside this diff. Not approved because:

Problem
The API v2 fixtures vendored in
shared/src/commonTest/resources/api/v2/fixtures/were copied from silo-server0416528. Since then, the server has changed several of those bodies. Silo-Server/silo-server#1445 changed the contract digest, and other changes added response fields. The contract tests were still decoding the old bodies, so they were no longer checking what the server actually sends.Closes #392
Change
Re-vendored from silo-server
83ac7a9(the #1445 merge) withscripts/sync-apiv2-fixtures.sh. The issue named the server'smake apiv2-fixtures-sync, but that copies all 641 server fixtures, while this repo's script vendors the 14 that the client uses. The bodies now include:get_system_info_ok: the newcontract_digestand anidentitylinkget_current_user_ok:password_change_requiredget_setup_status_ok:wizard_completedupdate_profile_ok:max_advisory_ageandrequire_advisory_agelist_progress_ok: a newnext_cursortokenNo app code changes. The production decoder reads the new bodies without changes.
Validation
./gradlew :shared:testDebugUnitTest --tests '*ApiV2*' --tests '*FreshDiscovery*'passes: 42 tests, includingApiV2ContractTest, which decodes every vendored body with the productionSiloJson.AI disclosure
