This pull request introduces critical capabilities to GasGuard's Quality and Evaluation workstream. 🛠️ Key Changes & Technical Implementations

1. Track Rule Coverage by Vulnerability Category (#1257)

• Coverage Aggregator & Metrics Engine:
  • Implemented category-aware rule mapping linking active AST, CFG, and symbolic analysis rules to standardized vulnerability taxonomies (CWE, SWC, and OWASP Top 10).
  • Generates deterministic coverage metrics per scan commit, reporting:
    • Total rule inventory vs. rules executed per vulnerability category.
    • Coverage gaps and skipped checks based on repository language targets.
  • Added JSON/SARIF export formats and tenant-scoped database persistence ensuring zero cross-tenant metadata leakage.
• Resilience & Fallbacks:
  • Gracefully handles unclassified or custom user-defined rules by placing them in an uncategorized bucket without failing scan jobs.

2. Benchmark Dataset Licensing Inventory (#1256)

• Dataset Registry & License Compliance Auditor:
  • Cataloged all evaluation and benchmark datasets used in model tuning and vulnerability regression testing.
  • Added automated license verification supporting SPDX license identifiers (MIT, Apache-2.0, GPL-3.0, CC-BY-4.0, Proprietary).
  • Enforces policy gating during dataset ingestion to prevent training or evaluating against datasets with incompatible redistribution or commercial restrictions.
  • Generates a machine-readable SBOM-style dataset inventory artifact (benchmarks/licensing-manifest.json).

3. Differential Analysis Validation Suite (#1255)

• Incremental & PR Diff Regression Suite:
  • Built an automated end-to-end differential validation suite to verify analyzer accuracy across PR diffs vs. full repository scans.
  • Asserts that differential analysis:
    • Correctly isolates newly introduced findings in modified functions and AST nodes.
    • Suppresses unchanged baseline findings without introducing false positives or ghost issues.
    • Accurately tracks modified context boundaries (e.g. library imports, inherited contracts).
  • Added realistic contract fixtures (e.g., reentrancy patch, unchecked transfer, gas optimization) and edge regression cases.

4. Measure Scan Determinism Across Repeated Runs (#1254)

• Determinism Auditing & Worker Locking:
  • Added distributed run reproducibility measurement to verify that $N$ identical runs on identical commits/rule-packs produce bit-identical finding fingerprints and AST graphs.
  • Introduced cryptographic finding hashes (sha256(ruleId + fileId + ASTNodeRange + normalizedContext)) to detect divergence.
  • Enforced strict atomic job leasing in Redis/Postgres workers to guarantee concurrent workers cannot claim, corrupt, or duplicate logical evaluation jobs.
  • Validated resilience and recovery bounds against forced worker interruptions and restarts.

• Determinism Audit: Verified 100 consecutive analysis runs against benchmark fixtures yielded identical finding hashes and zero result variance.
• Differential Suite: Executed differential_validator_test across 15 synthetic PR patch sets; verified 100% precision on newly added vulnerabilities.
• License Checker: Validated licensing-manifest.json against all internal benchmark suites; verified incompatible license flags abort gracefully with descriptive errors.
• Rule Coverage Mapping: Confirmed rule category mapping outputs 100% deterministic coverage metrics for same-commit inputs across isolated tenants.
• Unit & Integration Tests: All unit, boundary, invalid-input, and integration test suites passing.
• Security & Sanitization: Confirmed logs and telemetry payloads omit all sensitive tokens, repository access keys, and internal secrets.
