As migration archives accumulated, the default native project-list response exceeded the MCP transport limit and could not return the 43-project catalogue. Fetch only project navigation metadata and descriptions for listings; full project records, document references and source histories remain available through project detail. The browser selector retains every field it consumes.
Validation: 15 targeted project and detail-route tests pass, including a large-history regression and pagination/detail preservation. Ruff and diff checks pass. A fresh stdio connection using the existing configured task profile, with Jira credentials disabled, returned all 43 projects in 22,366 characters and successfully retrieved full project detail. Existing long-lived clients can continue to paginate until their next connection reload.
