The DGX worker could edit code but could not commit because linked worktrees share Git metadata with the running web checkout, outside the worker's writable sandbox. New assignments now use independent Git metadata and an optional Codex permission profile that permits Git writes only inside the task checkout. The operator can configure a dedicated GitHub CLI credential store and per-checkout commit author; existing linked worktrees are preserved.
The worker also reads each task project's current writer before pickup and result mutation, keeping Jira-owned imports out of the native Von task pilot. The runbook explains account isolation, profile setup, publication authority and recovery of existing work.
Validation: 19 targeted tests pass, including interrupted clone recovery, source-config preservation, credential-environment separation and project-writer selection. Ruff and diff checks pass. On the DGX, the scoped sandbox allowed a real Terra-issued local commit and rejected an outside-checkout write. A second Terra run authenticated as the selected
