Summary

Part of the README shortening (PROJ-914, item 5 of this run). README.md is human-authored per AGENTS.md ("Agents must not edit these files") and PROJ-914 ("agents can suggest wording in comments"), so I did not edit it. This PR only moves the one README-only fact PROJ-914 asks to be relocated: the "REST and MCP are checked mechanically by mcp-parity.node.test.ts" paragraph now lives in architecture/system-design.mdx under API surfaces. A verified 76-line README draft is posted as a comment on PROJ-914 for Tom to take or leave.

Verified

  • Parity paragraph matches the test header and its stale-entry check (mcp-parity.node.test.ts).
  • Other README-only candidates checked against docs: OAuth workspace confinement is already in agents/mcp-connection.md, and RFC 9728/CIMD in guides/deploying.md, so nothing else needed moving. RFC 8707 is not named in the docs; I left it out because the README sentence that goes with it ("a token minted for one workspace is not a credential for another") is flagged false by PROJ-914 (PROJ-903).
  • pnpm --filter @projektor/docs build passes.

Assumed

  • PROJ-901 (MCP v2) may replace the parity test; the paragraph describes it as it is today.
