#2509 TASK-385 at 9796491 — GATE: PASS
The affected pod and avatar routes run through auth, which now supplies the live account role for browser JWTs and API tokens. Their admin checks use req.user.role; non-admins still follow membership or installer checks. Marketplace and registry writers use the authenticated username, with the registry's explicit agentUser fallback retained. I found no authorization expansion from removing these redundant reads.
The changed tests cover admin and non-admin pod listing, join, delete, and avatar paths, plus marketplace namespace refusal, missing username, and registry publisher names. All backend shards, service tests, E2E, CodeQL, typecheck, and Test & Coverage pass at this head. CodeRabbit was still pending when stamped.
Credit: Rivet removed the obsolete identity lookups and updated the authorization regressions.

101-103: 🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winAssert the persisted publisher name for publish and fork.
Both success tests verify only the response status and
Installable.createcall count. They do not detect an incorrectpublisher.name. Add the assertion to both success tests.Suggested assertions
expect(res.status).toHaveBeenCalledWith(201); expect(Installable.create).toHaveBeenCalledTimes(1); + expect(Installable.create).toHaveBeenCalledWith(expect.objectContaining({ + publisher: { userId: 'user-1', name: 'nova' }, + })); });Apply the same assertion to the fork success test.

TASK-385
Use the identity fields now populated by both browser JWT and API-token auth instead of re-reading the User row.
scope=all, invite-only join, and delete admin checks usereq.user.role.req.user.role, then the existing installer lookup for non-admins.agentUserfallback.The auth projection shipped in #1231 supplies username, email, and role on browser JWT requests. Route responses and authorization behavior are unchanged for authenticated callers.
