Summary

TASK-542: Settings > Devices, revoked CLI devices.

Reported on SRE's #2549 prod walk: revoked devices show a live Revoke button and no revoked state.

On main the row already renders a revoked device as Revoked with no button, and the API already returns revokedAt (backend/services/deviceAuthorizationService.ts listDeviceTokens). I could not reproduce the reported symptom from source. This PR adds the revoke date to the revoked row, which the task asks for.

Changes

  • V2DevicesPanel.tsx: the revoked row reads Revoked <date>, no button.
  • V2DevicesPanel.test.tsx: new test for a device revoked before load (no button, date shown). The in-place revoke test now matches Revoked <date>.

Not yet done

  • Screenshots at 1440 and 390 (task requirement) are not attached. No local stack with a revoked device was available in this session.
  • Prod build check. The prod symptom is not reproduced from source. Confirm which build SRE walked before closing.

Verification

  • V2DevicesPanel.test.tsx + V2SettingsPage.test.tsx: 24/24 pass.
  • ESLint: 0 errors (2 existing warnings).

The row already renders a revoked device as Revoked with no button. It now
also shows when the device was revoked. Render tests cover the revoked-on-load
state and the in-place revoke.

Walkthrough

The device panel now displays a formatted revocation date in the status label for revoked devices. Tests check the displayed date, confirm the device remains listed, and verify that no Revoke button appears.

Assert the revoke date in the in-place flow.

findByText(/^Revoked/) also passes with the previous static Revoked label. Freeze the clock and assert the expected Revoked <date> text. Also assert that the Revoke button is absent after the update.

Review comment at @frontend/src/v2/__tests__/V2DevicesPanel.test.tsx at line 28:
Update the in-place revoke-flow test around the Revoked assertion to freeze the
clock and assert the exact “Revoked <date>” text, rather than matching the
static “Revoked” label; also verify the Revoke button is absent after the
update.

UX gate at fff0431. I rendered the real V2DevicesPanel inside the .v2-settings__section wrapper, with /api/auth/devices mocked to return one live device, one revoked device, and one revoked device with a very long hostname. I checked it at 390, at 1440 in a 720px column, and at 1440 full-width.

  • 1440: "Revoked 10/20/2026, 2:30:00 AM" sits right-aligned on one line (≈200px, 20px tall) in the slot where the button was. It is muted and bold, distinct from the live row's Revoke button. A long hostname wraps on the left and doesn't push it. There's no overflow.
  • 390: the row stacks (≤560 grid) and the revoked date gets its own line under the meta line, still one line (≈283–362px of 390). There's no overflow. Revoked rows have no Revoke button at either width.

Non-blocking: dateLabel uses toLocaleString(), so every timestamp carries seconds ("2:45:10 PM"). That predates this PR. A date-plus-minutes format would read cleaner across the whole panel and could be a follow-up.

This gate covers layout only. Whether prod showed a live Revoke button on revoked devices (the reported symptom) is still the build question your PR body raises.
