feat(record): v2 task record view from the board drawer (TASK-562) - #2971
TASK-562 (TASK-513 slice 4). A member of a record pilot pod can open a task's record from the board drawer at /v2/pods/:podId/tasks/:taskId/record. The page lists each record-v1 line in order: its kind, its actor (a member name where the pod read gives one) and its data. It has two downloads: JSONL, the served bytes, and OTLP from ?format=otlp. Copy is in English and Chinese.
How the link is gated
GET /api/v1/tasks/:podId now returns permissions.canReadRecord. It is true only when the pod is in RECORD_V1_PODS and the caller is an actual member. It and the record route both call recordService.isRecordReader, so the drawer never offers a link the route would answer with 403. Observers who can read the board see no link.
Behaviour worth checking
The JSONL is fetched as text with an identity transformResponse. Without that, axios would turn a one-line record into an object.
A line that does not parse makes the whole record unreadable rather than partly shown.
403, 404 and 503 each get their own message, and none of them reads as an empty record.
Kinds the view doesn't know show by raw name (spec §3 rule 2).
real PostgreSQL 17 plus Mongo: podRecords.realPg and recordChains.realPg 16/16, including the refusal cases that now go through isRecordReader
docReferences 7/7
Perturbations, each of which fails its test:
canReadRecord ignoring membership
the drawer link ignoring canReadRecord
dropping the text transform
Real browser, headless Chromium, run locally: Vite on the backend with embedded PG and Mongo and RECORD_V1_PODS=*. The task was created, claimed, blocked, reclaimed and completed through the API, giving a 4-line chain.
1440: the drawer shows "View record" next to the status pill, and the page renders all 4 entries with no horizontal overflow.
Downloads: in the browser, the JSONL blob is byte-identical to the served body, and the OTLP blob is 1 span with 4 events.
390: no overflow, back link and buttons are 44px, and the field list stacks to one column.
zh-CN at 390: all copy renders.
Shared verifier: the downloaded chain passes with ok: true and 4 entries, and its head equals X-Record-Head.
Tier 2 code and security gates are needed. The author does not self-gate.
A pilot pod's member can open a task's record from the board drawer: each
record-v1 line's kind, actor and data in order, with JSONL (the served bytes)
and OTLP downloads, in English and Chinese. The tasks list carries
permissions.canReadRecord, computed by the same isRecordReader the record
route uses, so observers who can read the board see no link.
The approval card link waits for the pod-chain route in #2779; view paging
and the X-Record-* exposed headers land with #2963.

Walkthrough
The task API now reports whether a caller can read a task record. The v2 interface adds an authenticated record page that parses and displays JSONL, offers JSONL and OTLP downloads, and shows a task-detail link when permission allows.

Team-Commonly/commonly#2779: Adds grant and broker-call lines to pod record chains; the task record view consumes their event, actor, and data contract.
Team-Commonly/commonly#2772: Adds task record chains and a members-only record endpoint that this view reads.
Team-Commonly/commonly#2963: Adds sequence-page reads and cursor headers to the record endpoint; the plan for this change defers paging.

Reject malformed record entries before rendering.
If a stored line is null, JSON.parse succeeds and parseRecord returns it as a RecordLine. Rendering then reads line.seq and throws instead of showing the “record could not be read” state. Validate each parsed value against the required record-v1 shape before returning it. The record read path currently serves stored line text without a shape check. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
As per coding guidelines, “Null/undefined handling at every boundary crossing” is required. As per path instructions, changed behavior needs a test that fails when its fix is reverted; add a malformed-but-parseable line case alongside the invalid-JSON test.

A stored line of null, a bare number or an actor without an id parsed
cleanly and then threw at render. parseRecord now checks the fields the
view reads, so such a record shows the unreadable state like bad JSON.

Fixed in 297fdec. parseRecord now checks every field the view reads (seq integer, ts/kind/runId strings, actor null or {type, id} strings, data an object) and throws otherwise, so a line like null lands in the same "could not be read" state as invalid JSON. Two tests added: a unit case over null, 7, [], {"seq":1} and an id-less actor, and a render case with a null line. Both fail with the fix reverted.
Use an own-property lookup and validate actor IDs.
parseRecord accepts __proto__ because it checks only that actor.id is a string. If that line is stored, names[id] resolves the inherited Object.prototype, which React cannot render.
Parser validation should reject contract-invalid IDs such as __proto__, but it is not sufficient by itself. Contract-valid names such as constructor can also resolve to inherited properties. Use an own-property lookup and add render coverage for both paths.

Update the personLabel callback to use an own-property lookup so inherited
properties such as constructor fall back to the actor ID. In parseRecord, reject
contract-invalid actor IDs such as __proto__; add render coverage for both
cases.

…d alone (TASK-562)
An actor id or doneBy value of `__proto__` or `constructor` resolved to an
inherited Object property and reached the render. Names now live in a Map,
so any id that is not a member shows as itself. Each parser guard gets its
own one-field-wrong case; reverting any one guard, or the Map, fails a test.

Inherited names (outside-diff, V2TaskRecord.tsx:113): member names now live in a Map, so names.get(id) || id can't resolve __proto__, constructor or any other inherited key. A new render test uses an actor id of __proto__ and a doneBy of constructor, and both show as the raw id. With the object lookup restored, that test fails. I didn't add an id regex to the parser. The Map covers every id, valid or not, and the actor id format belongs to the record spec, not this view.
Per-field parser cases (V2TaskRecord.test.tsx:59): there's now a test.each that starts from a valid line and breaks one field at a time: seq, ts, kind, runId, actor, actor.type, actor.id and data. Dropping the seq, ts, runId, actor.type or data guard on its own fails exactly that case.

@lilyshen0722 Both fixes are present in the inspected code.
V2TaskRecord.tsx uses Map.get() with a raw-ID fallback. The render test covers __proto__ and constructor. No parser ID regex is needed to prevent inherited-property lookups.
V2TaskRecord.test.tsx starts from a valid record and changes one field per case. This isolates all eight parser checks you listed.
These changes address both concerns. I did not run the tests or repeat the mutation checks; the 22 passing tests remain your reported result.
