feat(pod): say which agents aren't running, and name the one Scout's reply didn't reach - #2984
Fixes two kinds of silence found in a review of people who heard nothing back in their first pod.
1. Agents that aren't running. In 5 of 7 cases where the problem was on the person's side, the pod's agent had never connected. They wrote into a room where nothing could hear them, and nothing on screen said so. A group pod now shows a status row for each installed agent that never connected or has gone quiet:
"Sam Agent isn't connected yet, so it won't answer here until it's running."
"Sam Agent last checked in 3h ago. It answers when it's back."
The rows use the reach states that /api/pods/:id/agent-states already measures, which the composer's mention warning already reads. Hosted, listening and unknown agents show nothing. 1:1 agent rooms keep their existing row and never show both. At most three rows.
2. Scout answered, the person's own agent didn't. The "No agent was notified" hint was hidden whenever a wake-on-message agent woke. In a pod holding Scout and the person's hosted agent, an unmentioned message woke Scout alone. The hosted agent was never notified and no hint appeared. The delivery response now carries wokenAgents (names, next to the existing woken count). When an active agent wasn't woken, the hint names it:
Scout will answer this. Other agents here answer only when you @mention them. Try @sly.
When every agent woke, or an older backend omits the names, the behaviour is unchanged. The hint still shows at most once per pod per browser session.
Tests
V2PodAgentLiveness.test.tsx covers four cases:
a never-connected agent gets the not-connected row;
a gone-dark agent gets the last-checked-in row;
listening, hosted and unknown agents get no row;
an agent room shows its own row and not the group row.
V2ThreadDeliveryHint.test.tsx: when Scout woke and the other agent didn't, the hint names the other agent; when every agent woke, there's no hint. The existing case where woken: 1 comes without names still hides the hint.
The backend delivery assertions now include wokenAgents.
zh-CN strings follow the glossary (智能体, @提及, 你) and need the usual native pass. I couldn't run tests locally (host load), so CI is the first run. A browser check at 390 and 1440 follows after the dev deploy.
…reply didn't reach
Two silences from the census of people who heard nothing in their first pod.
A group pod now shows a status row for each installed agent that never
connected ("X isn't connected yet") or went quiet ("X last checked in 3h
ago"), from the reach states agent-states already measures. Agent rooms keep
their own row; hosted, listening and unknown agents show nothing.
The "No agent was notified" hint stayed hidden whenever a wake-on-message
agent woke. In a pod with Scout and the person's own hosted agent, Scout
answered and the hosted agent never heard the message. Delivery now returns
wokenAgents, and when an active agent wasn't woken the hint names it:
"Scout will answer this. Other agents here answer only when you @mention
them. Try @sly."

The backend delivery result now includes the names of woken agents. The chat UI uses this metadata to distinguish woken and unwoken agents in delivery hints. Shared-pod threads also show up to three liveness notices for agents that never connected or went dark.

Delivery and liveness feedback still has unresolved correctness risks, and the new Chinese liveness text is not directly protected by a regression test.

Scope liveness rows to the current pod.

Scope liveness rows to the current pod.
V2Layout reuses V2Thread across pod changes, but agentStates is not cleared when the pod changes. If the new pod's state request fails, this renders the previous pod's agents indefinitely. Associate the fetched rows with their pod ID or clear them on navigation. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Update the agentStates flow used by podAgentLiveness so liveness rows are scoped
to the current pod: associate fetched state with its pod ID and render it only
when that ID matches, or clear agentStates when navigating to another pod.
Ensure a failed state request cannot leave the previous pod’s agents visible.

Do not promise a reply from an enqueued wake.
woken records a successfully enqueued event, not an agent response. A disconnected agent can therefore be named as one that “will answer” while its liveness row says it cannot answer. Describe the notification instead, and update the equivalent zh-CN string. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Use the reported name when the local roster is stale.
If the backend wakes an agent added after agents was fetched, unwokenAgent can exist while this lookup returns undefined. The resulting hint says “No agent was notified” even though woken is positive. Use a name from wokenAgents as the fallback, rather than selecting the legacy hint. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Update the woken-agent name resolution around `wokenAgent` to fall back to the

Render delivery hints for thread replies.
432-432: Major · Functional Correctness · Quick win
Render delivery hints for thread replies.
A send aimed at a thread can produce the new unwoken-agent hint, but this reply renderer never renders agentDeliveryHint, even when the thread is expanded. The sender receives no explanation, and the session key prevents another hint in that pod. Render the hint for the reply or beside its collapsed thread card. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Update the thread reply rendering around afterMessage?.messageId === sourceId to
display agentDeliveryHint when present, including for expanded threads; if the

Preserve the delivery hint when another agent starts typing.
1387-1387: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win
Preserve the delivery hint when another agent starts typing.
The agent_typing_start handler filters events by pod, not by agent. If the woken agent starts typing after the POST response creates the hint, setAgentDeliveryHint(null) removes the hint. The session-storage marker was already written, so the hint cannot reappear during the session.
Clear the delivery hint only when the agent it identifies as unwoken starts typing. Add a test for this event ordering.

Update the agent_typing_start handler so it clears agentDeliveryHint only when
the typing event is from the unwoken agent identified by the hint, preserving it

Every fixture contains one agent, so removing the cap would leave these tests passing. Add a test with at least four unavailable agents and assert that exactly three named rows appear.
As per coding guidelines, “Off-by-one, empty-input, max-size boundaries tested.” As per path instructions, “A test that would still pass with the fix reverted is not a test.”

Add a test in the “group pod agent liveness” suite that renders at least four

The Axios call assertion proves that the request started, not that React committed its response. Include a never-connected agent in each response and wait for its row before asserting that the listening, hosted, or unknown agent has no row.

Add a zh-CN regression assertion for offlineSince.

Add a zh-CN regression assertion for offlineSince.
The existing gone-dark test uses the default English locale and asserts the English text. Add a frozen-clock test that selects zh-CN, uses a fixed lastUsedAt, and asserts the localized output. The assertion must fail if the locale entry at line 586 is reverted.
