fix(connectors): revoke notices name what the vendor page lists (TASK-282) - #3002
Linear's connected-apps page lists the Commonly grant as "MCP", so the manual-revoke notice now uses per-entry copy for linear that says "MCP grant" instead of "Commonly".
Sentry's page lists the MCP server's own app. Revoking it ends every client that server holds for the account, so the sentry copy says so before the link.
supabase keeps its copy. The per-entry switch is now a set (PER_ENTRY_REVOKE_COPY) rather than a single hard-coded entry.
The removed-connection line no longer says "Review Commonly access"; it says "Review its access at {{label}}".
Not verified
Whether Linear's "MCP" revoke reaches other clients. The copy makes no claim either way.
Tests
V2ConnectorsPage.test.tsx: Linear expectations updated to the new copy (en and zh-CN); new Sentry case asserts the reach warning and that the notice does not name Commonly.
V2ConnectorsPage.test.tsx + platformGlyphCatalogue.test.tsx: 105/105 pass. No new tsc errors in the touched files.
zh-CN strings are a first pass and need the native review.
…-282)
Linear's page lists the grant as "MCP", and Sentry's lists the MCP
server's app, whose revoke ends every client that server holds. The
manual-revoke notice now uses per-entry copy for linear and sentry, as
supabase already did, and the removed-connection line no longer names
Commonly.

The connector displays provider-specific manual-revocation instructions for Supabase, Linear, and Sentry. The connection-removal notice directs users to review access at the provider.
English and Chinese instructions cover Linear and Sentry revocation. The connector selects vendor-specific copy for Supabase, Linear, and Sentry. Tests check Linear and Sentry notices and the generic Airtable notice.

The removal notice refers to reviewing access at the provider instead of Commonly access. The test checks the revised confirmation text.

The Sentry notice still names Commonly, and two Chinese notices lack locale-specific tests. These are bounded follow-ups.

Add a zh-CN Sentry regression test.
The changed Sentry test covers English only. It does not exercise hostedMcpManualRevoke_sentry from zh-CN.json. Add a zh-CN Sentry case that asserts the localized notice and provider link. The test must fail if the locale key or context: 'sentry' selection is removed.
As per path instructions: “New code path ≠ test: flag it.”

Gated at 84b27be. CI: 22 pass, 5 skipped, nothing red. The V2ConnectorTools.tsx hunk only changes which notice string renders and one defaultValue. The revoke action, its confirm step and the link are untouched, as the ask says.
The Sentry claim is true. Sentry's MCP server sends every client through one Sentry OAuth app (SENTRY_CLIENT_ID). Its callback keeps each client's grant with that client's own upstream token, and it sets revokeExistingGrants: false, so grants run side by side. Sentry's authorization DELETE (api_authorizations.py) removes every ApiToken and ApiGrant for that user, that app and its org scope. So one revoke on sentry.io cuts off every client that goes through mcp.sentry.dev for that account. The upstream authorize URL names no org, and the server lists every org the account can see, so the authorization reads as account-wide. That last step is an inference: I can't see the app's org-level setting. The page the notice sends people to, /settings/account/authorizations/, is Sentry's current "Authorized Applications" route.
HOLD 1: the fallback is no longer pinned. On main, the Linear tests (en and zh) were the only positive assertions of the generic hostedMcpManualRevoke line. Linear now has its own copy, and no test renders the notice for any entry outside {supabase, linear, sentry}. So a change from : undefined to : 'linear' in the context selection would show Linear's copy on Notion, Airtable, Atlassian, GitLab and Google Calendar, and every test would stay green. Fix: add a case for one entry outside the set that asserts the generic line, in en and zh-CN.
HOLD 2: zh-CN Sentry, last sentence. 「撤销会结束该服务器在此账号上持有的所有客户端」 is 翻译腔. 「结束…客户端」 reads as shutting the clients down, and 「服务器持有客户端」 is a calque. Suggested: 「撤销后,所有通过该服务器连接此账号的客户端都会断开,不只是 Commonly。」 The English has the same problem in a milder form: "ends every client that server holds" could read "disconnects every client that uses that server with this account". That one is a recommendation, but the two strings should mean the same thing. The rest of the zh is fine. It uses 你, keeps MCP in English, has half-width spaces around Latin words and full-width punctuation, and 「已连接应用」 matches hostedMcpReviewAuthorization.
Non-blocking:
CodeRabbit's zh-CN Sentry test item (at abab823) is still unanswered. A zh Sentry case would close it along with HOLD 1's zh half.
Linear: "MCP grant" matches the row Linear lists ("MCP · Read · Revoke"). That page section is called "Authorized applications" (Settings → Security & access), per the walk recorded in linear.ts. "under Linear's connected apps" doesn't name it. Naming the section would help people find the row, and in zh 「其」 is ambiguous: 「在 Linear 的已授权应用中」 is clearer.
The new Sentry test's fixture URL is /settings/account/api/authorizations/. The real route is /settings/account/authorizations/. Only the fixture is affected.
Leaving out the Linear reach claim is the right call while it's unverified. Linear listing the grant as "MCP" rather than the client hints at the same shape Sentry has, so it's worth settling on the next Linear walk.
I couldn't run the frontend suite locally. The two holds come from reading every notice-rendering test at this head, and CI covers the rest.

The Sentry revoke notice still names Commonly in both locales.
The PR states that the Sentry notice "does not name Commonly." The hostedMcpManualRevoke_sentry copy in zh-CN.json says "不只是 Commonly", and the English copy in en.json says "not only Commonly." Both locales need the change. Revise both strings so they describe every client the server holds without naming Commonly.

Update the hostedMcpManualRevoke_sentry strings in both zh-CN and en locales to
describe that revoking disconnects every client held by the server for the

translations.
The removal test uses the default English locale and asserts only the English text. Add a zh-CN case that keeps the Airtable fixture, selects zh-CN, and asserts 连接已移除。请检查 Airtable 中的授权。.

Re-gated at c97c800, against my HOLD at 84b27be. The only new commit is c97c800: one zh-CN string and one new test. CI: 23 pass, 6 skipped, nothing red.
HOLD 1 is cleared. The new Airtable test asserts the generic manual-revoke line for an entry without its own copy. So the context-selection mutant (: undefined → : 'linear') now fails: Airtable would render Linear's copy, and this assertion reads the generic text. Context selection doesn't depend on language, so the English case covers the logic. The zh half of what I asked for isn't there: nothing pins the zh generic line now, and there's no en/zh key-parity test (a missing zh key falls back to English by design). That's copy coverage, not logic, so it's a recommendation, not a hold.
HOLD 2 is cleared. 「撤销后,此账号下该服务器的所有客户端都会断开,不只是 Commonly。」 reads naturally. The 「结束」 and 「持有」 calques are gone, it keeps the half-width space before Commonly, and the punctuation is full-width.
Non-blocking:
CodeRabbit's new Minor says the Sentry copy "still names Commonly". The copy is right to: "not only Commonly" tells the person that Commonly is one of the clients that lose access. What's wrong is the Sentry test's title ("…and does not name Commonly"). Its assertion only checks that the generic "remove Commonly there" line is absent. I'd rename the test and keep both strings.
CodeRabbit's zh removal-notice case, and a zh generic-line case alongside it, would close the remaining zh coverage.
Still open from my last review: "ends every client that server holds" in the English (the zh now says "disconnect", and the English could match it), Linear's section is named "Authorized applications", 「其」 in the Linear zh, and the Sentry fixture URL.
