Reverts #2999 (TASK-642, merge e78cd058e): the Night Shift look comes off the Commonly pod thread and inspector.

Sam, on the live site: "why on earyth curretnly jellymoon's UI is live on commonly??? I also don't really like it at all". Night Shift was the direction picked for Jellymoon's v4 shell, and it shouldn't have reached Commonly v3.

What goes

  • the .v2-nightshift class on the pod <main> (V2Thread) and the inspector <aside> (V2Inspector), and the agent-message hook in V2MessageRow;
  • the --v2-ns-* block in v2.css and the --c-ns-* tokens in frontend/design-system/tokens.css;
  • the Recursive font import in V2App and the @fontsource-variable/recursive dependency (package.json and the lock);
  • the invariant pins feat(v2): Night Shift look on the pod thread and inspector (TASK-642, D194) #2999 added, and its design-system README section, which wasn't marked as Jellymoon-only.

Sam, on the live site: "why on earyth curretnly jellymoon's UI is live on
commonly??? I also don't really like it at all". The Night Shift direction
was picked for Jellymoon's v4 shell. #2999 (TASK-642) applied it to the
Commonly v3 pod thread and inspector, where it doesn't belong.

This reverts e78cd05 as a whole:
- the `.v2-nightshift` class on the pod <main> and the inspector <aside>,
  and the agent-message hook on V2MessageRow;
- the `--v2-ns-*` block in v2.css and the `--c-ns-*` tokens in tokens.css;
- the Recursive font import and the @fontsource-variable/recursive
  dependency;
- the invariant pins #2999 added, and its design-system README section,
  which wasn't marked as Jellymoon-only.

Nothing merged since #2999 builds on the class or the tokens. #3003, #2984
and #3024 touched the same files, and the revert applies cleanly over them.

Correct the bundled-font statement.

frontend/package.json, frontend/src/App.tsx, and frontend/design-system/tokens.css still declare or import Bricolage Grotesque, IBM Plex Sans, and IBM Plex Mono. Therefore, “Inter Variable is ... the sole shipped font” is false. Update this line to match the bundled fonts, or change the imports and tokens in the same change.

Not fixing here: CodeRabbit's body point on frontend/design-system/README.md:223 ("one webfont shipped"). This PR is a straight revert, and that line is the README text from before #2999, restored word for word. It was already stale before Night Shift: Bricolage and the IBM Plex faces are still imported. So it's an existing doc error, not one this PR introduces, and correcting the font list belongs in a separate docs fix, not in a revert.

  1. Exact inverse of e78cd05: yes. git diff -R e78cd058e^ e78cd058e and git diff 57057cad9 6222215ce (merge base to head) match line for line once headers and hunk offsets are stripped; only the line offsets differ, from later commits on main. Same 10 files, 4 insertions, 403 deletions.
  2. No leftovers under frontend/: git grep -i -E 'nightshift|night shift|--v2-ns-|--c-ns-|recursive' on the head finds only mkdirSync(..., {recursive:true}) in frontend/scripts/ui-card-catalogue.test.mjs, which is Node's fs option, not the font.
  3. package.json drops only @fontsource-variable/recursive. The lock drops that entry and its node_modules block, and also drops "engines": {"node": ">=22"} from the root package entry. That isn't extra work by the revert: #2999's npm install had synced the root entry with the engines field package.json already declares, so reverting e78cd05 takes it back out. Non-blocking: package.json still declares engines and npm ci --dry-run under node 22 passes on the head's package.json and lock. The next npm install will add it back.

v2-layout-invariants: 269/269 pass at the head.
