fix(connectors): don't list a provider this instance doesn't offer (D215) - #3067
The Connectors page no longer lists a provider this instance doesn't offer (offered: false), unless the person already installed it. On commonly.me that removes one row: Discord. It has keys but no builtin Installable row, it can't be connected, and it has never been walked. Until now it showed under the inactive fold as "Unavailable here."
The API is unchanged. catalogFor still returns one entry per readiness-declaring manifest with offered, and the install route still refuses provider_not_offered. Only the page's listing changes. Someone with an existing install keeps their row in the not-connectable state, with no Add.
Why
D215: don't show what hasn't been fully tested. I listed every connector a stranger sees on commonly.me, reading /api/installables as an account with no walk exceptions, and checked each one against the walk records in docs/plans/integration-readiness-matrix.md:

never; hidden by this PR
Google Calendar, Atlassian, Sentry, Notion, GitLab, Supabase, Airtable
no, already hidden by hostedMcp.hiddenEntries
—
Atlassian is being walked now. If the walk passes, a separate values change takes it off the hidden list, and its walk-exception key comes off at the same deploy, because an exception key for an entry that isn't hidden makes the backend ignore the whole exception list.
Tests
V2ConnectorsPage.test.tsx: a new test checks that a not-offered provider with no install renders no row and no inactive fold. The old not-connectable test now uses an installed provider, and every one of its assertions still holds.
Mutation check: with the filter disabled, the new test fails. With the installed-row exception removed, the installed test fails.
The full file passes, 101 of 101, under Node 22. eslint shows 0 errors on both files, and its 3 warnings were already there.
…215)
Discord has keys on commonly.me but no builtin Installable row, and it has
never been walked. The Connectors page still listed it under the inactive
fold as "Unavailable here." A connector nobody here has walked should not be
shown at all.
The page now leaves out a catalogue entry with offered: false, unless the
person already installed it. That row still renders in the not-connectable
state with no Add. The API keeps reporting the entry, so the offerability
contract (one entry per readiness-declaring manifest) is unchanged, and the
install route already refuses provider_not_offered.

The Connectors page omits unoffered Discord entries when they have no installation or integration. It retains installed or integrated entries. Tests and the readiness matrix describe this behavior.
The channel list omits unoffered entries without an installation or integration. Tests verify that an uninstalled Discord entry is omitted and that entries with an installation or integration remain listed as unavailable. The readiness matrix records that the API still reports offered: false.
Team-Commonly/commonly#2485: Introduced the inactive fold behavior for unoffered Discord entries that this change updates.
Team-Commonly/commonly#2443: Documents hidden-provider behavior for Atlassian and Sentry, which is related to the unoffered-provider filtering here.
Merge Risk: Low · up to ad68b
The production filter is bounded, but the new test can provide false confidence until its fixture or the catalog contract is corrected.

Explanation
The title names the main change: the Connectors page no longer lists a provider that the instance does not offer (offered: false). It also names the scope (connectors) and the fix type. The title matches the changeset in the component filter and the test updates. It is 73 characters, which is within a reasonable length.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description is closely related to the changeset. It explains that the Connectors page hides providers with offered: false unless the person has an installation. It names Discord as the affected row, states that the API is unchanged, and lists the test changes and the verification results. It also gives the reasons for the change, which are walk records and the D215 rule.

The filter keeps a catalog entry when it is offered, or when the person already has an installation or an integration for it, and drops the rest from the list. The API and the install refusal are untouched, as the PR says.
Ran V2ConnectorsPage.test.tsx at this head: 101/101 pass, and both new tests are in it.
Mutation checks on the filter:
No filter: "does not list a provider this instance does not offer" fails.
Dropping the installation and integration clauses: "keeps an installed but no-longer-offered provider" fails.
Dropping only the integration clause: nothing fails.
Non-blocking, a coverage gap: nothing pins the integration arm. A person whose only record is an integration row would lose their Discord row if that arm were removed, and no test would catch it. A third case with integration set and no installation, in the second test or beside it, would close it.

Correct the previous Discord state.

Correct the previous Discord state.
Before D215, the available but unoffered Discord entry rendered as “Unavailable here.” A stranger did not see “Not enabled on this instance · ask your operator.”
Suggested documentation fix
- A stranger sees "Not enabled on this instance · ask your operator" rather than a merged "not yet" row.+ A stranger sees "Unavailable here." rather than a merged "not yet" row.

Update the pre-D215 Discord description in the integration-readiness matrix to
state that a stranger saw “Unavailable here,” not “Not enabled on this instance
· ask your operator”; keep the surrounding API and roster details unchanged.

A provider no longer offered stays listed when the person has only an
integration row. Removing that clause now fails a test (it failed none
before). Also corrects the matrix: the pre-D215 Discord row read
"Unavailable here.", not "Not enabled on this instance".

CodeRabbit, matrix line 52: right, the not-connectable row read "Unavailable here." (connectors.notConnectable). Corrected.
Rhea's coverage gap: added a third case, an integration row with no installation. It stays listed in the inactive fold. With the integration clause removed, that test fails and the other 101 pass.
Under D218 this is the one review round (Rhea's PASS, CodeRabbit, CI). No re-gate for this push.

Use a catalog shape that /api/installables can produce.
1295-1297: Minor · Data Integrity & Integration · Quick win
Use a catalog shape that /api/installables can produce.
mockCatalog bypasses catalogFor and supplies installation: null with a non-null integration. The current catalog service queries integrations only for non-uninstalled user installations and emits an integration only when an installation exists. This test does not cover a production-reachable response.
Either make catalogFor preserve orphan integrations and test that contract, or remove this test and the integration-only filter exception.

Update the test using mockCatalog so it represents a response catalogFor can
produce: do not combine a non-null integration with installation: null. Remove
the integration-only filter exception if it exists, so the test and filtering
behavior match reachable /api/installables responses.
