style(v2): FeaturePage dark palette chosen from the resolved theme (TASK-685) - #3068
TASK-685, the follow-up to #3064 (TASK-681). V2FeaturePage now has a dark literal palette, and the theme is chosen from the resolved mode, so the page follows Settings and the OS.
V2_DARK_COLORS mirrors the dark --v2-* block. The four status solids have no dark override in v2.css, so they share the light values; the test checks that by inheritance.
useV2ResolvedDark reads data-v2-theme and prefers-color-scheme, and updates through a MutationObserver and a media-query listener. The pure rule is resolvedV2Dark in utils/theme.ts.
V2FeaturePageColors.test.ts: every light and dark literal is pinned to its token, and the explicit dark block agrees with its prefers-color-scheme twin. A mutation of the dark accent fails the pin.
useV2ResolvedDark.test.tsx: the hook follows the attribute without a reload.
Full src/v2 run: 165/165 suites, 1883/1883 tests (--maxWorkers=2). Under default parallelism a few suites timed out on machine load; they pass alone.
…ASK-685)
V2FeaturePage's MUI theme now has a dark literal set pinned to the dark
--v2-* block. The mode comes from useV2ResolvedDark, which follows the
data-v2-theme attribute and the OS scheme, so a Settings change applies
without a reload.
- V2_DARK_COLORS mirrors the dark token block. The status solids have no
dark override, so they share the light values.
- primary.light now reads accentSoft, and contrastText reads onAccent,
so no palette value is left unpinned (Sable, #3064).
- Tests pin every dark literal to the dark block, or to the light token
where dark inherits it, and check the explicit block against its
prefers-color-scheme twin.

Walkthrough
V2FeaturePage now selects light or dark MUI themes based on the document theme setting or system preference. Palette values drive component styling in both modes. Tests cover mode resolution and compare palette colors with CSS tokens.

Summary
Resolve the active theme mode frontend/src/v2/utils/theme.ts, frontend/src/v2/hooks/useV2ResolvedDark.ts, frontend/src/v2/hooks/useV2ResolvedDark.test.tsx
resolvedV2Dark resolves explicit light and dark settings and otherwise uses the system preference. useV2ResolvedDark tracks document attribute and media-query changes. The hook test checks changes to the document attribute.
Build palette-based MUI themes frontend/src/v2/components/V2FeaturePage.tsx
The shared theme builder accepts a palette and mode. The dark palette defines dark surfaces, borders, text, and accents while reusing status and shadow values. MUI component styles use the supplied palette.
Select and verify the active theme frontend/src/v2/components/V2FeaturePage.tsx, frontend/src/v2/__tests__/V2FeaturePageColors.test.ts
V2FeaturePage selects the theme that matches the resolved mode. Tests check light and dark palette values against CSS tokens and verify explicit and automatic mode resolution.

Dark mode now follows Settings and the OS, but contained primary buttons in dark mode have lower text contrast than the dark CSS tokens intend. This reduces readability without blocking any workflow. A few theme-selection paths also lack tests. Fixing the button fill before merge is recommended; the rest are follow-ups.

It matches the changeset, which adds V2_DARK_COLORS, useV2ResolvedDark, and resolvedV2Dark. The 'style(v2):' prefix and ticket ID are conventional and do not reduce clarity. The title is 77 characters, which is within a reasonable length.

Assert the unset-attribute, dark-OS case.
Add expect(resolvedV2Dark(null, true)).toBe(true). The current assertions also pass if a regression makes an unset attribute always resolve to light. That regression would select the light MUI theme while the CSS paints dark under the system media query. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Test an OS preference change.
This test proves that attribute changes update the hook. It does not prove that the new MediaQueryList listener updates the hook when the attribute is auto. Mock a mutable media query, dispatch change, and assert both dark-to-light and light-to-dark updates. Without that test, removing the listener leaves this suite green. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Test the theme selected by V2FeaturePage.
The palette tests check values, and the hook test checks its boolean. Neither test checks the theme passed to this ThemeProvider. Add a page-level test that reads the theme inside a child, changes data-v2-theme, and asserts that the selected theme changes. Replacing this conditional with the light theme would otherwise leave the supplied tests green. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Add a page-level test for V2FeaturePage that observes the theme provided to its
ThemeProvider through a child, changes the data-v2-theme setting, and asserts
the observed theme changes accordingly. Ensure the test verifies the dark and
light selection made by V2FeaturePage, rather than testing the theme definitions
or hook in isolation.

Use a contrasting dark fill for contained primary buttons.
In dark mode, this override puts white primary.contrastText on #6680ff. The pair has approximately 3.44:1 contrast, below the 4.5:1 minimum for normal-sized text. The dark CSS already defines the stronger --v2-accent-fill for white button text. Use a sufficiently dark fill here and keep the hover state distinct. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
