fix(board): close the prod frame-diff layout gaps (TASK-687) - #3157
…ith chips under the tabs (TASK-687)
Closes the prod frame-diff layout gaps: 1440 extra focus-body regions and the
390 header, focus strip and chip placement. Card button padding no longer
doubles the card's own.

Own Sonnet subagent review of a CSS/TSX layout change (not a sensitive area). Measured in headless Playwright with mocked API at 1440 and 390, light mode, against the d215 board frame:
1440: closed focus strip is one 40px row; focus body and task list are 0x0 while closed (they were 1292x178 boxes over the columns on prod).
390: single header row (53px), tabs then chips, focus strip hidden, no horizontal overflow; cards two-line.
Card button padding no longer doubles the card's (85px to 61px).
Board, layout-invariants and i18n suites pass (349 locally at c7a7459; board and layout 315 after merging main).
Not checked: dark mode, the open-focus state. Known minor drift left: flat phone tabs (frame has a raised segment), lease and avatar on the card kicker row, user icon on the Mine chip. The staging frame diff stays with the operator run.

Walkthrough
The V2 Pod Board detects phone-sized layouts at 760px and moves filter chips below the tabs on phones. CSS updates the board header, focus panel, and card button styling.
The component tracks the 760px media query and renders the shared filter chips in the header on non-phone layouts or below the tabs on phones. CSS adjusts the header and filter row at that breakpoint.
Focus panel and card styling frontend/src/v2/v2.css
Closed focus panels hide content other than the summary. The focus panel is hidden on mobile, and the board card’s main button has zero padding.
The phone board layout now hides the pod focus section entirely, so users on phones can no longer see or edit the pod's goal and focus tasks. Add a phone-accessible entry to focus before merging, or explicitly accept the loss. The layout fixes themselves look sound, and the new responsive behavior lacks regression tests.

The existing test selects an earlier @media (max-width: 760px) block. Add scoped presence assertions for the later single-row header, title/search flex sizing, and card main button padding reset.
This is a test-coverage improvement, not a current production defect.

Review comment at @frontend/src/v2/v2.css at line 14135:
Update the CSS test coverage for the later TASK-687 phone override, anchoring
assertions to that specific @media block rather than the earlier max-width:
760px block; verify the single-row header, title/search flex sizing including
.v2-board__title-wrap, and card main button padding reset.
Add a test for filter chip placement at the 760px breakpoint.
V2PodBoard.tsx renders the filter chips in two places based on isPhone. The chips render in the header when !isPhone (line 714) and below the tabs when isPhone (line 836). isPhone starts from (max-width: 760px) and updates on the media query change event (lines 640-649).
No board test covers the phone branch or the 760px change. V2PodBoard.test.tsx does not mock window.matchMedia, so isPhone stays false in jsdom. The P0 chip test (lines 247-253) finds the chip by role and name and checks aria-pressed. It passes whether the chip sits in the header or below the tabs. A change that moves the chips to the wrong branch would not fail any inspected test.
Add a test in frontend/src/v2/__tests__/V2PodBoard.test.tsx that:
Mocks window.matchMedia for (max-width: 760px), following the pattern in V2LayoutSelection.test.tsx.
Renders the board at phone width and asserts that the Mine, P0, and Unclaimed chips sit below the tabs.
Fires a change event that crosses 760px in both directions, and asserts that the chips move to the header and back.
Asserts the selected state of a chip after each move.

Keep pod focus accessible on phones.
At widths up to 760px, this hides the goal, focus tasks, retry control, and the only focus editor entry on the board. Phone users can no longer read or edit pod focus. Provide a mobile entry to those functions while keeping the strip hidden.

Follow-up, not in this PR. The d215 phone frame for the board has no focus strip (header, tabs, chips, cards), and this PR hides it to match that frame. You're right that it leaves phone users without a way to read or edit the pod focus; that needs a design call on where the entry lives (for example a row in the header menu), so it is filed as a follow-up for the design owner rather than invented here. Desktop is unchanged.

@lilyshen0722 Understood. Keep the focus strip hidden to match the d215 phone frame. The mobile focus entry can remain a design-owner follow-up outside this PR.
The access gap is deferred, not fixed, so this finding remains open. Please link the filed follow-up here; no duplicate issue is needed.
