Overview

Integrate the existing FastAPI service with the merged Studio Runtime (#310, #312, #313), replacing the legacy F1 execution backend with a unified job lifecycle owner.

• Route HTTP jobs through studio.JobsManager for scheduling, persistence, cancellation, restart recovery, and graceful shutdown.
• Preserve existing REST API compatibility, F1 configuration aliases, and historical job records.
• Maintain secure artifact access, log retrieval, and download behavior.
• Add integration and regression tests for service lifecycle, API compatibility, and security boundaries.

Validation

Studio Core CI at d97d66f2:

• Ubuntu / Python 3.10: 429 passed, 4 skipped.
• Windows / Python 3.10: 426 passed, 7 skipped.
• Doctests: 5 passed on both platforms.
• Ruff, formatting, and codespell checks passed.
• Manual Windows integration: real CPU prediction, React and Gradio compatibility, service restart, job recovery, and artifact downloads passed.

Scope and limitations

• Designed for a single trusted-local service process; multi-user authentication and isolation are not included.
• GPU/DDP and some failure-recovery edge cases remain outside the verified scope.
• Launcher and additional UI improvements are deferred to next PR.

CI update for dd649a91:

• Studio Compatibility CI: PASS — 422 passed, 1 skipped.
• Studio Core (Windows): PASS — 426 passed, 7 skipped.
• Studio Core (Ubuntu): The upstream run had one failure in test_real_service_signal_budget_and_cleanup[cooperative].
• Independent rerun: The same commit passed the full Studio Core workflow on both Ubuntu (429 passed, 4 skipped) and Windows (426 passed, 7 skipped).

The isolated Ubuntu failure appears timing-sensitive, but its root cause has not been established. No production changes were made for this rerun.

The remaining general CI failures have been compared with failures on the upstream main baseline.
