The operator deploy CLI can run from a newly built binary outside the installed service directory. It previously inferred the installation directory from that CLI executable, causing companion installation to target the build artifacts themselves and fail.
Resolve the destination from the selected systemd unit's ExecStart, rejecting wrappers, relative paths and ambiguous commands. A generic build can bootstrap the explicitly selected unit; installed environment-suffixed binaries retain their cross-service guard. API deployments retain their current service entrypoint.
Validation: five targeted deploy CLI tests passed, including the build-directory regression and fail-closed destination parsing; cargo fmt and git diff --check passed.
