Workstream: #70

What and why

The shared handbook is now KITT, Keeper of Intent, Tooling and Tempo. That rename landed as TheAnswerManIsHere/KITT#272 (Rename AI-Handbook to KITT: Keeper of Intent, Tooling and Tempo), with a correction in TheAnswerManIsHere/KITT#273 (Drop the stray "the" the rename left before KITT across line breaks). This pull request syncs KITT 7209b73 into DojoOS and renames the old name in DojoOS's own files.

  • Synced files. Every synced file now starts SYNCED FROM KITT, and the shared rules name KITT throughout. The sync still recognises the old SYNCED FROM AI-Handbook banner, so nothing already here is stranded. The sync deleted nothing: sync: 0 file(s) deleted, 204 copied, 0 seeded, 8 seed(s) left alone.
  • DojoOS's own files. The old name is rewritten in CLAUDE.md, the product brief, architecture, Codex-environment and overlay docs, TESTING.md, deferred-work.md, the comments in ci.yml and project-sync.yml, the map rule, and the notes in the map and machinery settings files. History citations become KITT #N, per David's choice. No workflow step or setting changes, only comments and notes.
  • Left unchanged on purpose. The approved architecture plan under docs/plans/ keeps the old name. So do the synced map tool's matcher and test, which accept both names by design, and a memory note's measured path.

Step 4 of the approved steps, verbatim: One sync pull request per product, Overhype.me then DojoOS, plus each product's own files that name the old name.

Must not change: what the sync delivers, seeds or deletes, other than the banner's text and the rule prose. No workflow behaviour.

Decisions taken on my recommendation

  • The approved plan under docs/plans/ keeps the old name. Its digest pins the text David approved. Undo: rewrite it in a follow-up commit.

Latitude this grants me

None.

Verification

node scripts/sync.mjs --to <DojoOS> # 0 deleted, 204 copied, 0 seeded, 8 seeds left alone
node --test scripts/__tests__/*.test.mjs # pass 372, fail 0

Post-merge verification

None needed beyond the close-out Repl sync. The change is prose, comments and banners, with no product behaviour.

…ling and Tempo

Syncs KITT 7209b73 (TheAnswerManIsHere/KITT#272 and #273): every synced
file carries the SYNCED FROM KITT banner, and the shared rules name
KITT throughout. This repository's own live docs, workflow comments and
config notes are renamed the same way. The approved architecture plan
under docs/plans/ keeps the old name, because its digest pins the text
David approved.

…1 price table (#72)

Oracle source: TheAnswerManIsHere/KITT#271, step 4, where David approved
the rename's steps on 2026-11-01

## What and why

A small re-sync from KITT `96583d5`. It carries two KITT changes that
merged after PR #71 (Sync the KITT rename: the handbook is now KITT,
Keeper of Intent, Tooling and Tempo):

- **TheAnswerManIsHere/KITT#274** (Finish the KITT rename: the last
stray articles, and restore quoted and digest-pinned text) removes the
last stray "the" the rename left before KITT. That covers two lines in
`agents-core.md`, one in `.agents/reviews/.gitignore` and three in
synced script comments. It also restores one memory note's measured
clone name.
- **TheAnswerManIsHere/KITT#270** (KITT's own 2026-11-01 maintenance
pass) refreshes `token-pricing.md` to its 2026-11-01 price read.

Seven synced files change. The sync reported `sync: 0 file(s) deleted,
204 copied, 0 seeded, 8 seed(s) left alone`.

**Must not change:** anything but the seven synced files. No product
code.

## Decisions taken on my recommendation

None.

## Latitude this grants me

None.

## Post-merge verification

None needed beyond the close-out Repl sync.
