Run Wrangler from the web workspace so it discovers and uploads the Pages Functions proxy. The prior production deployment published static assets but treated /api/* as an SPA route.\n\nValidated with a Cloudflare preview deployment: /api/categories returns the EC2 API JSON through the Pages Function.
