Mars inherits Rio's macOS release context, but Mars does not yet have a validated macOS release/support story. This should be decided separately from Linux packaging and without blocking current Yazelix/Linux dogfooding.

Scope:
- Inspect inherited Rio macOS DMG/app bundle release surfaces.
- Decide whether Mars should maintain, defer, or reject macOS release artifacts.
- Identify required Mars identity changes: app name, bundle id, icon, metadata, signing, notarization, and release ownership.
- Define expected smoke tests before any macOS artifact is public.
Acceptance:
- macOS artifact status is accepted, deferred, or rejected with concrete reasoning.
- Follow-up implementation, if any, names exact release tooling, identity changes, signing/notarization requirements, and smoke tests.
- Mars docs avoid claiming macOS package support until validated.
