EZOCursor is in public beta. The current scope is intentionally focused: it adds visual reticle, guide-line, block, and debug aids. It does not automate gameplay, input, targeting, combat decisions, or addon management.
- The Elder Scrolls Online PC client.
- LibAddonMenu-2.0.
- Optional: LibChatMessage for cleaner addon chat output when available.
- Optional: EZOCore for the central
Settings > EZOpanel and shared language mode. - An ESO API version supported by
EZOCursor.txt.
Current manifest metadata:
- Addon version:
0.1.25 - AddOnVersion:

- Live:
- Install or enable
LibAddonMenu-2.0. - Start ESO or run
/reloadui. - Enable
EZOCursorin the ESO Add-Ons menu.
- Optional replacement of the base ESO reticle texture with ESO's circular reticle texture.
- A center target indicator and outer full-screen horizontal and vertical guide lines.
- Target and combat information use separate visual areas with no overlapping pixels:
- the 64 px center cross shows the configured target color: no attackable target, attackable target, or camera preferred target
- camera preferred has priority in the center whenever ESO reports
IsGameCameraPreferredTargetValid() - outside combat, visible outer lines use the same target color as the center
- in combat, the outer lines use the configured combat color while the center continues to show target state
- combat damage briefly flashes the outer lines with the configured recent-damage color for 600 ms
- all segments use a neutral white source texture so the displayed tint matches the selected LibAddonMenu color
- HUD/HUD UI scene integration for visual overlays.
- Block shield overlay shown only when active blocking is detected.
- Low-stamina block warning when current stamina is below five times the Advanced Stats
Block Cost. - Debug panel for validating cursor, combat, block, stamina, and HUD scene state.
- English and Spanish localization.
- SavedVariables migration for older guide-color keys.
EZOCursor registers its complete settings panel in Settings > EZO when
EZOCore is available. Without EZOCore, the same controls remain available
through the standard LibAddonMenu addon settings list.
Current visible options:
- Purple informational section headers with a 26 px info icon.
- General section help is attached to each section header tooltip.
- Field-specific help is attached to the tooltip of each control.
- Enable or disable the center indicator and outer screen guides together.
- Choose when the outer guide lines are shown; the center target indicator remains visible while cursor guides are enabled:
- always
- only in combat
- Enable or disable the cursor state debug panel.
- The debug panel follows its own visible setting and remains available even if an internal reticle master flag is disabled.
- Configure target colors used by the center indicator and, outside combat, by visible outer lines:
- no attackable target
- attackable target
- camera preferred target
- Configure combat colors used by the outer lines:
- in combat
- brief recent-combat-damage flash
Some internal/default reticle settings exist in SavedVariables, such as enabled, blockIndicatorEnabled, useCircularReticle, and idleAlpha, but they are not exposed as LibAddonMenu controls in the current beta.
camera preferred targetuses ESO'sIsGameCameraPreferredTargetValid()signal. It has visual priority in the center, but it does not guarantee exact target identity or melee range.- Attackable target state uses ESO attackability signals for
reticleover; it is not a range check. The center indicator exposes target state independently from the outer combat colors. - Recent combat damage follows real combat events involving the player. Each accepted event restarts the 600 ms outer-line flash.
- The block warning uses current stamina and Advanced Stats
Block Cost; it is an alert threshold, not a prediction of every incoming hit. - Visual controls are intended to appear only in normal HUD and HUD UI scenes.
- EZOCursor does not automate combat, movement, targeting, input, keybinds, blocking, attacks, menu navigation, or vanilla UI actions.
- EZOCursor does not publish to Discord, call webhooks, run external workflows, or send telemetry.
Please test these scenarios during beta:
- Login and
/reloaduiwithout Lua errors. - Open EZOCursor from
Settings > EZO, or from the LibAddonMenu fallback when EZOCore is disabled. - Enable and disable the center indicator and outer guide lines together.
- Switch outer-guide mode between
AlwaysandIn combat; confirm the center indicator remains visible in both modes. - Change each target and combat color and confirm the corresponding visual area updates.
- Confirm each settings section shows the purple info icon and opens its general tooltip on hover.
- Confirm field-specific tooltips open from their controls.
- Outside combat, aim at no target, attackable targets, and camera-preferred targets; confirm the center and visible outer lines use gray, green, and blue by default.
- Enter combat and confirm the outer lines turn red while the center continues to report gray, green, or blue target state without color blending.
- Deal or receive damage and confirm the outer lines flash orange briefly before returning to red.
- Confirm overlays hide in inventory, map, Champion Points, crafting, Tales of Tribute, addon settings, and other non-HUD scenes.
- Confirm the block shield appears only while the character is actively blocking.
- Confirm the block shield changes to warning color when stamina is below
Block Cost * 5. - Enable the debug panel and confirm its values match visible behavior.
- Confirm English and Spanish strings load correctly.
