CSE validates native-bound function trees but has no graphical output. Add an opt-in SVG/offline HTML renderer with compact content-fit framing, balanced branches, lossless measured wrapping, and embedded Inter/Space Grotesk fonts. An owned synthetic 13-function model demonstrates the result.
Explicit display labels remain bound to exact native action identities. Unknown, stale and duplicate bindings are refused; native names, IDs, parentage and source bytes stay intact. Optional IDs follow readable names. Shared trunks are painted once, and the main fan-out stays neutral.
The profile independently resolves header fill, frame/accent and connector roles. The selected compact-tree display uses blue tint/blue shade, tangerine tint/tangerine shade and green tint/green shade branches, with an orange-on-violet root, a neutral shared trunk and light leaves. This restores the prior display exactly: fresh SVG and DPR2 PNG bytes match the earlier compact specimen. The declined cross-family branch option remains available as nondefault catalog entries and in Git history. Same-family and cross-family combinations both require the existing text/nontext contrast checks; no color carries universal engineering/status meaning. Legacy version-1 profiles inherit explicit defaults, captured in the output manifest.
Validation: 235 tests across 17 suites, no skips, including pinned Java 21/native checks; 18 offline Chromium SVG/HTML cases covering body/font variants, native/authored labels, optional IDs, independent connector overrides, actual fonts, glyph advances, bounds, topology, clearance and target-scale strokes. Independent code/semantic review found no actionable issues, with additional native, immutable-input and malformed-profile probes. The restored SVG, offline HTML and fresh DPR2 export are byte-identical to the previous compact option requested by Cole; geometry, labels and the semantic ledger remain unchanged. A controlled font-matched comparison also matches the earlier export.
See
docs/visual-presentation.mdfor the runnable demonstration and implemented-versus-token-only matrix. White/paper/faint-tint bodies remain provisional. This slice supports one simplified documentary function-tree family. Other formal notation families, contacts/ports, typed hatches, graphical-editor roundtrip, calibrated print, complete accessibility, protected execution and engineering acceptance remain outside its claims. Private reference material and the unpublished foundation are excluded. Keep this draft PR unmerged.
