Summary

Adding skills from the rocm-systems/projects/rocprofiler-systems project:

  • choosing-a-profiling-preset skill:

    • Helps a user pick the right built-in profiling preset for their workload (for example an AI training job, an MPI/HPC app, or a low-overhead production run) and gives the exact command to run.

  • discovering-profiling-options skill:

    • Answers "what options does this tool have?" questions, such as which hardware counters or ROCm APIs are available on this machine, and points the user to the right command.

  • instrumenting-binaries skill

    • Guides users through instrumenting an application: runtime versus rewriting a binary, including or excluding functions and modules, previewing with a dry run, and tuning detail versus overhead.
