App developer verification starting in 2026

Following Google's announcement of developers needing to "verify" apps (including sideloaded apps) from 2026, I wanted to confirm that steps will be taken to ensure Tram Hunter still remains working and viable after this process?

Tram Hunter is still a great app and has loyal users who would like to see it keep working (and even some further developments, if Andy has the time?).

Sorry, just can't do it unfortunately. I'm genuinely surprised it still works tbh, and it's kinda amazing that people may still be using it, but I just can't maintain it.

Having said that, there's no reason why someone else can't take this code and rebuild + sign it, etc.

May I ask is the reason you no longer maintain the app financial, a time issue or something else? I would love to see some minor tweaks to the app and for it to remain useable, but unfortunately I have zero experience in app development/coding.
