Prepare prom-mcp for the official MCP Registry.

  • Add MCPB packaging: mcpb/manifest.json (spec v0.3, binary server type, Prometheus URL, token, and timeout as user config) and mcpb/build.sh, which builds one .mcpb bundle per platform into dist/ with reproducible bytes.
  • Add server.json for io.github.aniketatgithub/prom-mcp pointing at the four bundles as GitHub release assets, with SHA-256 hashes from a local build. Passes mcp-publisher validate.
  • Release workflow now builds the bundles on every tag and uploads them next to the binaries; checksums.txt covers both.
  • distribution/registry-publish.md documents the one remaining manual step: verify the hashes against the release, then mcp-publisher login github and mcp-publisher publish. The login is interactive, so publishing stays a human step.

Verified locally: go build ./..., go vet ./..., and go test ./... are green, the manifest passes mcpb validate, and the bundled linux/amd64 binary answers initialize and tools/list over stdio.
