fix(workflow-form): the HuggingFace picker's task selector stays live in the form, so a reader can pick a mismatched task #8762

Open

Description

@yangzhang75

What happened?

An exposed HuggingFace model picker (modelId) gets the operator's other properties, task included, as read-only context (workflow-form.component.ts:899), so it loads the right models and labels the field, and only the bound property is written back. The widget's own task selector is still interactive, though, and a task change made there is not persisted: a reader can pick a model for a task the operator does not run, and the selector then misrepresents what will run.

Expected: a form-view mode of the shared hugging-face.component that uses the provided task and hides or locks the task selector.

Part of #8439 (item 3) and the Form View feature #8011. Raised by Copilot on #8437.

How to reproduce?

  1. Expose a HuggingFace operator's modelId in the Form View.
  2. As a reader, change the task in the widget's own selector and pick a model for it.
  3. The workflow keeps the operator's original task; the picked model does not match it.
