• The optional store feature now requires segstore 0.6 and durability 0.8. This is a breaking change: store::UpdatableIndex::open and store::SnapshotIndex::open take Arc<dyn durability::Directory>, so callers must pass a directory from durability 0.8.
• MinHash hashes each item once and mixes in each hash function's seed with the splitmix64 finalizer. Before, the seed was fed into FNV ahead of the item, so the hash functions were near-affine images of each other and the Jaccard estimate was biased (0.384 for J = 0.5 with 2000 hashes). MinHash signatures change. The store sidecar recipe moves to sketchir-store-minhash-v2, so sidecars written by 0.6 are rebuilt on first use instead of being matched against signatures from the new hashes.
• DenseSimHash draws Gaussian hyperplane normals instead of uniform ones in [-1, 1]. Fingerprints change.
• LSHIndex::search and MultibitLSH::search rank colliding candidates by exact cosine distance instead of 1 - dot, so inputs need not be normalized. Cosine distance involving a zero vector is 1.0.
• MinHashLSH::new rejects a bands * rows_per_band overflow, and its queries return no candidates for a signature of the wrong length. MultibitLSH::new rejects fingerprints wider than 64 bits and an overflowing num_tables * num_projections.
• The published package contains only the sources, tests, examples, benches, README, changelog, and license files.
• LSHIndex and MultibitLSH draw Gaussian hyperplane normals instead of uniform ones in [-1, 1], so a bit agrees with probability 1 - theta/pi for any input and unit-vector projections match the multi-bit Gaussian quantile bins. Hashes and fingerprints from these two types change.

Fixed

• Re-adding a document id after its earlier copy was sealed into a segment now replaces that copy. Before, store::UpdatableIndex and store::SnapshotIndex near-duplicate queries could still return the id for text that only its old copy matched, and the ranked queries could report the old copy's higher similarity.
