Thoughts on the current state of the repo
- I already updated the root README to fix a broken link and remove references to an old version
- There is a v1.0-beta.1 release/tag, which has a tarball release as an "Asset"
- There is a v0.5 tarball in the root of the repository
- I see /docs/UserManual.tex and /docs/files/UserManual.tex, which are presently identical
- The repository is still private
The v0.5 tarball is easy to find, while the v1.0 is hard to find. There's no mention in the README that users should likely use the commit or tarball published as an Asset of the latest release. I would consider removing the v0.5 tarball or moving it to a "PreviousRelease" folder.
Note that the Smooth Emulator's "Documentation" link in the BAND framework's software page needs to be updated as part of the release.
