astro checkdoes not support TypeScript 7 (peer range is 5 or 6; Astro itself says so). Astro's replacement is@astrojs/ts-content-mapper, which type-checks.astrofiles throughtscand needs TypeScript 7.1+.typescriptis pinned to the 7.1 dev build (7.1.0-dev.20261011.1) until 7.1 is stable; then change the pin to^7.1.0.npm run check=tsc --noEmit --runExternalCode. Checked that it fails on a deliberate type error in an .astro file.npm run build= check + astro build.
