Adds SECURITY.md and a one-sentence pointer in README's Contributing section.

  • Reporting: GitHub private vulnerability reporting (enabled on this repo), best-effort handling, coordinated disclosure through a GitHub Security Advisory.
  • Supported versions: latest release only (currently 1.0.1).
  • Security model: no auth or rate limiting by design. The chart's NetworkPolicy restricts ports, not sources.
  • Hardening in place: non-root, read-only rootfs, caps dropped, input limits, per-request temp dir.
  • Known issues: Debian FFmpeg fix_deferred CVEs; crafted-input amplification, bounded by timeouts and the /tmp emptyDir eviction limit, which is not a hard cap and does not apply to plain Docker or persistence.enabled.

Review: openai-codex/gpt-6.1-sol checked every claim against source over three passes. It returned BLOCK, then BLOCK, then PASS; both BLOCKs were overclaims about the disk limit and were fixed. gitleaks is clean.

Private reporting via GitHub advisories, supported versions, security
model (no auth; NetworkPolicy limits ports, not sources), hardening in
place, and known issues (Debian FFmpeg fix_deferred CVEs, crafted-input
amplification). README points reporters to it.
