The README now opens with the three-line Bungee lockup from the site's social card, without the card's paper and grain, in place of the text heading.

  • Two transparent SVGs under .github/readme/: ink (#151412) for light mode and the dark theme's ink (#f3f1ec) for dark mode. A <picture> with a prefers-color-scheme source switches between them; GitHub sets that from the viewer's theme.
  • The heading keeps "Governed Artifact Protocol" as its alt text, so screen readers and search still read the name.
  • The letters are outlines, because GitHub serves README images without access to web fonts. They match the card: Bungee 400 with its kerning, no added tracking, baselines 0.87 em apart. The line widths come out in the same ratio as on the card (1 : 0.931 : 0.977).
  • Points in the path data are written as x,y pairs. Space-separated runs of coordinates tripped the secret scanner's card-number rule.

The root README isn't synced to the documentation site, so this changes GitHub only.

To check: open the README on this branch in GitHub's light and dark themes.

Replace the text heading with the three-line Bungee lockup from the social
card, without the card's paper and grain. Two transparent SVGs, ink for light
mode and the dark theme's ink for dark mode, switch through <picture> on
prefers-color-scheme, which GitHub sets from the viewer's theme. The heading
keeps "Governed Artifact Protocol" as its alt text.

The letters are outlines, since GitHub serves README images without access to
web fonts. They match the card: Bungee 400 with its kerning, no added
tracking, and baselines 0.87 em apart. Points are written as x,y pairs so
runs of coordinates don't read as card numbers to the secret scanner.
