MeshCentral Router is a Windows TCP/UDP port mapping tool. You first needs to have an account on a MeshCentral server like MeshCentral.com or your own server. You can then run MeshCentral Router, login to your account that start performing port mappings.
A typical use of this tool is to perform a Remote Desktop RDP session with another computer over the Internet without the need to set a VPN.

This fork includes a Pop!_OS/Ubuntu .deb package that runs the application
through Wine and installs a launcher entry and icon. Build it with:
./packaging/linux/build-deb.shSelect an online endpoint and use the persistent Open SSH + HTTP tunnels button below the normal device list (or the endpoint's context menu). It creates both loopback tunnels without opening an SSH client or browser. Once the listeners are ready, the agent name, SSH endpoint, and HTTP URL are copied automatically. The button then becomes Copy SSH + HTTP ports so they can be copied again. The legacy endpoint-card view offers the same action.
Mapping rows load their endpoint artwork directly from alpha-PNG resources to avoid black transparency-mask artifacts under Wine. The main Devices list is likewise rebuilt as a 32-bit runtime image list from the original online and offline PNG artwork.
The login screen defaults to remembering the password for 30 days using per-user DPAPI protection. The server-issued 2FA trust-cookie option is also enabled by default when offered; its lifetime is controlled by the server.
