What changed

brand/ (new): a reusable kit generated from brittek-surface@45ca03e

  • marks.svg sprite with #brtk, #command, #asterisk and #asterisk-path, plus colour hooks (--brtk-stop, --command-legend, currentColor).
  • Standalone SVGs: the primary lockup (COMMAND + brtk.) in light and dark, the wordmark, COMMAND, the ASTERISK, and the canonical favicon copied byte for byte.
  • The five type registers as latin-subset WOFF2 with their OFL licences.
  • README.md covers sources, usage rules, the sprite's viewBox gotcha and colour tokens.

presentation/index.html: wordmarks and logos fixed

  • The BRAND-01 brtk. master and the APPEARANCE-04C COMMAND legend replace the retired Lab 2026.14 drawings.
  • Header: brtk. alone, following surface #320.
  • Marks scene: copy follows the surface's lib/content/marks.ts. Runtime is set in Geist Pixel Square, as on the surface.
  • Applications: Signal ASTERISK favicon tile (96, 32 and 16 px), COMMAND + brtk. primary lockup, Runtime word-sign with a Mono state label, and the packaging lid.
  • Opening field: ordinary modules blank, important nodes with the ASTERISK, the active node with the Signal ASTERISK, as the doctrine sets out.
  • The Runtime type register is now shown in the identity scene.

Optimisation and polish

  • Type is self-hosted, so the page makes zero third-party requests (Google Fonts removed).
  • Small Signal text on Paper uses #CC3B02 (4.51:1).

Guard

  • scripts/check_brand.py keeps the inline sprite identical to brand/marks.svg, checks every declared font exists, and rejects third-party origins.
  • The Profile quality workflow now runs it, and also triggers on brand/** and presentation/**.

Why this improves the profile surface

The public profile now carries the same identity as production. Other builds get one governed place to take the marks, lockups and fonts from, instead of copying drawings out of donor files.

Verification

  • python3 scripts/validate_profile.py passes
  • python3 scripts/check_brand.py passes. It also fails as expected when the sprite is altered or a Google Fonts link is added.
  • Chromium at 1440×900 (light and dark) and 390×844: no page errors, no horizontal overflow, all desktop scenes fit, 0 external requests, all five font families loaded
  • No floating-tag GitHub Actions introduced (one run: step added to an existing pinned workflow)
  • No trackers or analytics added
  • No private repository, client, account, credential or infrastructure details exposed

New external dependencies

None. One is removed: the Google Fonts stylesheet.

Screenshots

Open presentation/index.html locally. See scenes 01, 03 and 04, and brand/svg/lockup-ink.svg.

Open decisions

  • Lockup spacing: COMMAND sits on the wordmark's ascender-to-baseline band, with a gap of 0.42 of that band. This is a proposal, not a ruling.
  • README hero: it uses asterisk-on-signal.svg, per the commit of 9 October. The doctrine reserves COMMAND + brtk. for major brand compositions, and brand/svg/lockup-ink.svg / lockup-paper.svg are ready if wanted.
  • The Lab: the scene still describes edition 2026.14. Surface #303 shipped Lab v2 (2026.26), and its figures weren't available here.

Generated by Claude Code

…onto it

Adds brand/, generated from the brittek-surface canonical sources at 45ca03e:
a symbol sprite (#brtk, #command, #asterisk), standalone SVGs for the primary
lockup, wordmark, COMMAND and ASTERISK in light and dark, the canonical
favicon, and the five type registers as self-hosted latin WOFF2 with their OFL
licences.

The presentation now places those masters instead of the retired Lab 2026.14
drawings: the BRAND-01 brtk. wordmark, the APPEARANCE-04C COMMAND legend and
ASTERISK_PATH. It follows the identity doctrine and later rulings: brtk. alone
in the header, COMMAND + brtk. as the primary lockup, the Signal ASTERISK as
the favicon tile, Runtime set in Geist Pixel Square, and the field's important
nodes marked with the ASTERISK and the active node in Signal. Marks copy
follows lib/content/marks.ts.

Type is self-hosted, so the page makes no third-party requests. Small Signal
text on Paper uses #CC3B02 for contrast.

scripts/check_brand.py keeps the inline sprite identical to brand/marks.svg
and rejects third-party origins; the Profile quality workflow runs it.

…tion)

- Dark ground is Ink #111111; the retired #0D0D0B is gone.
- The colour plate shows the kit palette: Paper, Bone, Ink, Signal, hover.
- Controls meet the 48px Gate (was the 44px floor).
- Step numbers use muted ink (3.15:1 to 6.31:1); inactive scene markers use
faint ink, which clears 3:1 against both grounds (was 1.38:1).
- Hover colour changes are instant: the motion contract animates transform,
  opacity and clip-path only.
- Notes are prose and read in Inter; Mono stays for labels and metadata.
- "2018 to 2026" replaces the en dash in the title and meta description.
