Summary

  • Add a how-to page for setup, projects, members, and reading the map, linked from the main page under the setup cards.
  • Note at the top of Settings → Local helper that macOS 26 can hide the menu bar icon, and that Safari 26 cannot reach the helper.

Test plan

  • On the signed-out page, confirm “More on how to use Contour.” sits under the two setup cards and opens /how-to.
  • Read the how-to page, then use Main page to return.
  • Signed in, open Settings → Local helper and confirm the two macOS 26 notes are at the top.

New users can read setup, projects, and access from the main page, and Local helper warns when the menu bar icon is hidden or Safari cannot reach the helper.
