Summary

The phase-field fracture example (#66) solves with torch_sla.vi_solve, which first shipped in torch-sla 0.4.0, now on PyPI. This raises the floor everywhere it is stated:

  • pyproject.toml: the dependency and the cudss / pyamg / gpu extras, >=0.3.0 → >=0.4.0.
  • requirements.txt: >=0.2.1 → >=0.4.0. It was already behind pyproject.
  • docs/source/community/contributing.rst and docs/source/getting_started/verify_install.rst, which state the floor, with their zh_CN entries updated to match.
  • tests/assemble/test_phase_field_fracture_example.py: the module-level skip for a torch-sla without vi_solve is gone, so CI now runs the example's 11 tests.

The pip install torch-sla>=0.2.0 hints in tensormesh/distributed/ are left as they are: they name the release that introduced distributed support.

Test plan

  • CI installs torch-sla 0.4.0 from PyPI and runs tests/ on py3.10–3.12, including the phase-field example tests that used to skip.

The phase-field fracture example (#66) solves with torch_sla.vi_solve, which
first shipped in torch-sla 0.4.0. Raise the floor in pyproject.toml, for
the dependency and the cudss/pyamg/gpu extras, and in requirements.txt,
which still said 0.2.1. The installation and contributing pages state the
same floor, in both languages. The example test no longer needs to skip
when vi_solve is missing.
