The circular angle dial did not clearly communicate where zero starts or which direction increases the angle. Show a 0° label, baseline, and counterclockwise arrow before movement, then hide all three after the first angle change. Restore the guides on the next round; keep the short instruction and keyboard guidance accessible.
Validation: built all themes, passed all JavaScript verification scripts and 21 Python tests, and checked immutable daily assignments. Verified phone and desktop layouts plus guide hiding, return-to-zero behavior, and next-round reset.
