Summary

Refresh dependencies with the compatibility fixes needed for consumer installs, public API extension types, and release preparation.

Breaking: Nimbus and newly generated sites require Node >=22.23.4 and Astro >=7.2.10.

Changes

  • Update Astro, Markdown, API parsing, image processing, and starter dependencies; refresh the workspace and frozen-consumer lockfiles.
  • Support Satori 0.63 alongside 0.26 and pin tsdown 0.20.3 to preserve public API module augmentation. Document and exclude the incompatible bundler updates from Dependabot.
  • Adopt Changesets 3, jsdom 30, pnpm 10, and compatible contributor Node requirements. Use the official release-plan API to handle an empty changeset queue while preserving real failures.
  • Derive runtime floors from each public package engine declaration. Accept qualifying prereleases while preserving the stricter contributor range in acceptance checks.
  • Align deployment-root sitemap URLs with Astro canonical URLs, keep route registration idempotent, and cover the full policy matrix with hook tests plus two real builds.
  • Accept Corepack-hashed pnpm pins while enforcing the exact version. Explicitly decline unnecessary esbuild/workerd install scripts in the workspace.
  • Update verifier tooling, cover all adapters with pinned pnpm, and retain Cloudflare and Netlify coverage with latest pnpm.
  • Update runtime/Corepack documentation, the Changesets schema, dependency-sensitive fixtures, minor changesets, and manual upgrade guidance.

Validation

Passed locally:

  • Clean frozen install with side-effects caching disabled and explicit script decisions; full workspace build, package typechecks, lint, upgrade-manifest validation, and freshness guard. Lockfiles unchanged by the follow-up fixes.
  • Full dependency-refresh framework suite: 3,215 passed, 11 skipped, zero failures. Focused runtime/sitemap/API-extension follow-ups: 107 passed, including all six hook policy combinations and two real static/request builds.
  • Scaffolder suite: 82 passed. Registry, root upgrade, and release/subprocess suites also passed.
  • Twelve contributor-prerelease boundary cases and sixteen scaffolder engine-range probes.
  • API/Chromium acceptance with a verified Corepack-generated hashed pin, packed API extension types, Workers/workerd acceptance, and static-template acceptance.
  • Pinned-pnpm Netlify and latest-pnpm Cloudflare/Netlify scaffold/install/typecheck/build acceptance.
  • Packed consumer scaffolding, API augmentation, typecheck, and production build on Node 22.23.4; jsdom client tests on Node 22.23.4 and 24.15.0.
  • Isolated 0.20.0 / 0.9.0 release preparation and packed migration: 285 targeted tests passed, 2 terminal-dependent tests skipped.

Pending: CI on the latest push, including Windows and the complete next-release test matrix.
