Kanidm is a modern Rust-based identity management platform (OIDC/OAuth2, WebAuthn/passkeys, RADIUS, PAM/SSH). The kanidmd server is built from source via cargo (setup_rust), uses a self-signed TLS cert (create_self_signed_cert) and listens on :8443. Data in /var/lib/kanidm, config /etc/kanidm/server.toml. Admin bootstrap via 'kanidmd recover-account idm_admin'. Upstream officially supports aarch64. Note: a bare IP is not a valid domain/origin, so it defaults to kanidm.lan; map a real domain for WebAuthn/OAuth2.
