What changed? Why?

Adds an ABSR methods section and a U.S.-structure assumption card to io/index.md, plus a FAQ entry "What is ABSR, and is it standard practice?", answering user feedback. Both ABSR steps (structural reflection and RAS) are cited as established IO techniques, with Eora and EXIOBASE as comparable global databases. releases/rc.md no longer says ABSR fills countries without data.

Impact

Docs only; no change to model numbers.

Review focus

  • The Eora and EXIOBASE descriptions in io/index.md come from general knowledge, not a re-read of the papers.
  • Three new references.bib entries; the FAQ and summary-ceda.md now cite them, so both pages gain a references list.

Testing

myst build --html --strict and --check-links --strict pass, apart from the existing change-log.md "widths" warning.
