Add named cue points on the video timeline.

Declare them on Video::markers with the same duration units as scenes and audio:

fn markers(&self) -> Markers<'_> {
    Markers::from([
        ("title-hit", Duration::Seconds(1.8)),
        ("cta", Duration::Seconds(12.0)),
    ])
}

They show up in timeline (and --json), resolve as time specs (title-hit, title-hit..cta, case-insensitive like scene names), and are always included when inspect samples frames. From render_frame, look a cue up with ctx.marker("title-hit"). Duplicate names fail at timeline resolve; a cue past the end of the video clamps to the last frame.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added named timeline markers that resolve to video frames and can be used in time specifications.
    • Markers are available during rendering and preview, and appear in timeline reports and command-line timeline output.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Invalid or duplicate marker names now produce clear errors. Marker positions are constrained to the video’s duration.

Declare cue points with Video::markers. They show up in `timeline`,
resolve as time specs, are sampled by `inspect`, and are available from
render_frame through FFramesContext::marker.

📝 Walkthrough

The change adds named timeline markers to videos. It resolves marker names and durations to frame positions, supports markers in time specs and timeline output, and passes resolved markers to rendering contexts and the WebAssembly editor.

Changes: Timeline markers

Layer / File(s) Summary
Define and resolve markers
fframes/src/markers.rs, fframes/src/video.rs, fframes/src/error.rs, fframes/src/lib.rs, fframes/src/tests.rs
Videos can define named markers using marker collections and duration inputs. Resolution validates names, resolves durations against media and video timing, clamps frames to the video duration, and stores the resolved markers in the timeline.
Resolve marker time specs
fframes/src/time_spec.rs, fframes/src/renderer/cli.rs
Timeline time specs can use marker names as points and range endpoints. Timeline output lists marker names, frames, and seconds; inspect checks marker frames within the selected range.
Pass markers to render contexts
fframes/src/fframes_context.rs, fframes/src/renderer/*, fframes/src/renderer/tests/preview_tests.rs, fframes-native-player/src/lib.rs, fframes-skia-renderer/*, render-bench/src/main.rs, examples/marketing/src/tests.rs
Rendering contexts receive resolved markers. Preview timeline reports include markers, and tests cover marker resolution, reporting, and rendering.
Expose markers in the editor
fframes-editor-controller/src/wasm_audio.rs, fframes-editor-controller/src/wasm_editor.rs, fframes-editor-controller/src/video_metadata.rs
The editor resolves media durations referenced by markers, stores resolved markers for rendering, and exposes them through VideoMetadata.

Named markers mostly work, but there are two problems to fix before merging. In the editor, an invalid marker name appears to crash preparation instead of returning an error. In the end-to-end benchmark, videos lose their markers when rendered.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win

Forward markers through Truncated.

When a benchmark video uses ctx.marker(...), stage rendering receives its markers, but end-to-end rendering does not. Bench::run renders Truncated, whose default Video::markers returns no markers; Truncated::render_frame then calls the inner video with an empty marker context. Override Video::markers in Truncated to forward the inner video's markers.

A marker named like a scene is shadowed by the scene.

resolve_point tries find_scene first. A marker with the same normalized name as a scene never resolves, and no error reports the conflict. find_scene also strips the scene suffix, so a marker named intro is shadowed by the scene IntroScene. Detect scene and marker name collisions in resolve_markers or document the precedence.

112-114: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | 💤 Low value

Clarify that normalize_marker_name treats title-hit, title_hit and titlehit as the same name.

The normalization removes separators. Two distinct names such as a-b and ab are therefore reported as duplicates. This behavior is intentional and tested, but the public Video::markers docs do not mention it. Add one sentence to the docs so users do not hit a surprising InvalidMarker.

Return marker validation errors from editor preparation.

If a video declares a blank marker name or duplicate normalized names, resolve_timeline returns InvalidMarker. The subsequent unwrap() panics, so WasmEditor::prepare cannot return an error to its caller. Propagate the resolution error through prepare_video_with_audio and convert it to JsValue at the editor boundary.
