Summary
The "Version Notice" announced the Python → Go rewrite, which is several releases old and already in the CHANGELOG. It was also noise visually: the badges rendered inline after the paragraph instead of sitting under the title row.
The note that old Python image tags remain on GHCR is dropped along with it; they're still there (
v1.x), it just isn't worth headline space now.Test plan
