Many users, particularly at ECMWF and its member states, have a long history of working with metview as their meteorological workstation. As ECMWF shifts development effort to earthkit, we need to support existing metview users in migrating to earthkit.
Describe the solution you'd like
A metview-to-Earthkit migration guide, covering all of the core aspects of working with earth science data: data access, analysis and visualisation. This could be a public Confluence space, or some read-the-docs documentation, perhaps in the top-level earthkit package - format to be decided.
